The Thomson - East Coast Line (TEL) is a new Mass Rapid Transit system, an innovative driverless four-car metro train sets, that linked Northern Singapore to the central business district and Marina Bay precincts. The line runs for 43km underground, delivering 32 new stations and 8 interchanges that connect all major lines. When fully completed, it will serve about 1 million commuters daily and relieve crowding on the East-West and North-South Lines.
